ClearTriage Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9/15/2020

Overview

ClearTriage (the “Service”) is a web-based, cloud-hosted decision support tool for telephone triage nurses. It provides access to the industry-standard Schmitt-Thompson telephone triage protocols and assists with the documentation of triage calls.

The most important thing to know about the Service is that it does not store patient information. Although it assists with the documentation of triage calls, this process happens locally on your computer and a summary is transferred to your EMR or other system storing patient records via copy and paste. The patient’s name and demographic information, information typed into the free-text documentation box, and specific care advice plans are not sent to our servers nor stored in our software.

Your use of the Service is governed by our Terms of Use agreement:

  • The type of device or system you are using.

We may also partner with Google Analytics to facilitate the above tracking through the use of first-party and third-party cookies. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features within the Service.

As you use the Service, we may collect some of your selections in the forms that make up the Service, as well as audit information about changes you make to your account. The specific data that is stored is detailed in the Recording and Use of Information section of our Terms of Use agreement:
